Oleg Pereverzev is a Kazakhstani virtuoso pianist, composer, improviser, and showman. He graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatory and completed his postgraduate studies in piano. He interned at the Hannover University of Music and Theatre in Germany. In 2006, he competed in the 5th International Liszt Competition in Weimar. He also appeared on the Russian show "Minute of Fame" and the Ukrainian show "Ukraine's Got Talent." A video of his performance of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee" on two instruments simultaneously has garnered over three million views on YouTube. Pereverzev's name was entered into the Russian Book of Records for the fastest performance of this work. On April 11, 2025, it was reported that Oleg Pereverzev died in Almaty at the age of 45.
