Lika MC (also called Lika Star, real name Lika Olegovna Pavlova, Russian: Lika Olegovna Pavlova) is a Russian techno/rap singer and DJ. Lika MC is part of the phenomenon of the girl-dominated techno scene in post-Soviet Russia. Born Lika Pavlova in Lithuania, she started DJing at the age of 15 using the stage name Lika MC. She then composed and mixed her own songs in 1990, which ended with the release of her debut album, Lika Rap. In 2002, in a magazine interview, she mentioned a possible move to London and a joint project with British techno band Apollo 440.
