Jah Khalib (Ja Kalib, real name Bakhtiyar Mammadov; born September 29, 1993) is a Kazakhstani Russian-speaking rapper, singer, beatmaker and producer. Bakhtiyar Mammadov was born on September 29, 1993 in Alma-Ata. Father is Azerbaijani, mother is Kazakh. He was fond of rap music since childhood. He studied at a music school in the saxophone class. He graduated from the faculty of musicology and management of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. He worked with many Kazakhstani rappers as a beatmaker and sound producer, including PR’OXY, Santos, Antrax, Hirosima and others.
